Alexandra-Maria-Lara

Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian-German actress on television and film best known for her performances in films such as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Alexandra was the sole daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. When she was 16she already been offered a variety of television roles including the lead role in the Downfall film Youth Without Youth Control. In the Oscar-nominated film Downfall, her role as Secretary Traudljunge, Adolf Hitler's secretary was also critically acclaimed. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are the other Oscar nominees featuring the divas. Alexandra worked on several significant international and national productions through the years. Some of these include the British biographical documentary Control, the Greek drama film The Dust of Time, and French historic miniseries Napoleon. She was also an adjudicator at the Transylvania International Film Festival as in the Cannes Film Festival.
