Michael Keaton's portrayal in "Birdman" is his most notable film. Keaton is an actor with a variety of talents who can play both comedic as well as dramatic parts. His career has seen him play a variety of romantic characters, and also in action thrillers. When he was still in his teens the actor began developing an interest in both acting and performance. Later, as an aspiring youngster, he tried stand-up comedy. He had a failed comedy career, but it paved the way to his career as an actor. To be successful as a comic He was offered a position in the role of a cameraman with the local cable TV station. In the course of the work he started to discover that he wanted to be in front of the camera. When he was offered a part in a television show, he appeared in numerous shows in Mister Rogers Neighborhood. He was a natural actor, and quickly became a household name on television. He began a film career with great goals and gained a lot of fame through his comedic characters. He gained even more fame when he played Batman who was the title character in Tim Burton's Batman. He grew in his abilities as an actor and also ventured into production and direction. In the film Birdman (2014) the actor won numerous awards and nominations.
